They can be specified as single, stand-alone piler, and can also be custom-built to integrate with a specialist, new or existing vegetable grading & handling equipment.

Designed with minimal maintenance in mind, Tong pilers are available in mild or stainless steel construction. They come in a wide range of standard lengths and widths, to suit all vegetable handling applications. Available as light, medium and heavy duty pilers with options including mobile pilers, trough belts, side wall belts and swan neck construction. EFFECTIVE HANDLING
Tong pilers are fitted with a heavy duty PVG 50mm flighted belt as standard, giving effective elevation of all crop types and materials, even when working at steep angles, ensuring gentle yet efficient handling. All pilers can be specified with alternative belts including pocket belts, web belts and more, built to suit your specific requirements.
VARIABLE SPEED
Fitted with a fixed speed motor as standard, Tong pilers can also be specified with variable speed drive, allowing maximum flexibility and control.
SWAN NECK PILERS
All Tong pilers can be manufactured to a Swan Neck design, built with a horizontal end section at the discharge end of the piler, facilitating even gentler transfer of crop from the piler.
WEB PILERS
A water-draining, web construction belt is available as an option on all Tong pilers. Offering gentle handling of crop, whilst facilitating the drainage of water from wet crop or allowing loose soil on dry crop to fall through the gaps of the web belt. A popular choice in wet packhouse environments to gentle elevate washed crop.
PACK PILERS
Ideal for elevating packed produce or any product pack prior to despatch, Tong’s pack pilers offer gentle handling. With a flighted belt for effective transfer of packs at all angles.
